Urban Skargren, born 1968, is a Swedish film & TV director. He studied filmmaking at the School of Digital Filmmaking in Kona, United States, and has directed films in Sweden, Colombia and the United States. After working as a journalist, Urban started making short films in 2005. He has since directed a dozen of short films and tv pilots, and several commercials and skits. In 2024, he directed his debut feature film. Urban is an auteur and has written many of his own films. He has also worked as a cinematographer, camera operator and production manager for a number of tv and film projects.
Urban Skargren is fluent in Swedish, English and Spanish and currently lives in Åland, Finland.
